Glenlough Campsite welcomes guests from the last weekend in March until the first weekend in October. There are no provisions for seasonal pitches or long-term stays.
Those staying in grass-only pitches may select any location within the camping field. Groups are accommodated with ample space for camping together.
Pitches vary in size but are all large enough to accommodate a caravan or motorhome, an awning, and a car on the hard standing area. Some pitches are more suitable for larger or twin axle vans; please discuss your needs with a team member if you have any questions.
Units up to a maximum of 30ft can be accommodated, subject to the availability of larger pitches.
Electric hook-up pitches are available by advance booking. Additional plug sockets are available in the pitstop area for charging devices and small appliances.
All types of camping vehicles are accepted, including motorhomes, caravans, camper vans, trailer tents and rooftop tents. Please note that caravans require a permit from the Isle of Man Government to be brought onto the Island.

Telephone bookings are also possible by calling 01624 852057; however, during the closed period, the office operates on reduced hours and may not always be available for telephone bookings.

Grass-only pitch guests are not bound by specific check-in or check-out times, Electric hook-up pitches, arrival is permitted from 12:00 noon onwards, with departure by 11:00 a.m.
Camping Pods have a check-in time of 14:00 (with early arrival possible from 13:00, subject to availability after cleaning), and check-out by 11:00 a.m.

Open fires are not permitted on the campsite. Fire pits are allowed but must not be placed on decking or too close to tents, caravans or any other structures. Gas and charcoal barbecues are permitted, but should not be placed directly on the ground, decking or picnic benches. Please dispose of barbecues responsibly. Wood is not available for purchase onsite but can be bought at the local garage in Union Mills.
Friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome, provided they are kept on a lead at all times. During the TT fortnight, dogs are not allowed on the campsite. Dogs are not permitted in the PODs.
No charges apply for dogs.
Guests are welcome to receive visits from friends and family. Visitors should park in the main car park and check in at reception during open hours, indicating whom they are visiting. All visitors are required to leave the site before 21:00.
WiFi is available throughout the site and is free for all guests. Signal strength may vary in different areas, and bandwidth or speeds are not guaranteed, as these depend on the number of users at any given time.
The campsite offers a fully accessible shower room with toilet. Please be aware that the terrain is gently sloping and many tracks are gravel, which may pose difficulties for manual wheelchair users. A limited number of pitches are closer to the shower block and may be more suitable for guests with mobility needs; please enquire by phone or note your requirements in the special instructions section when booking online.
Camping fees are non-refundable unless at least 14 days’ notice is given. Transfers may be offered at the management’s discretion, and an administration fee of £10.00 may apply.
If you encounter any issues during your stay, please report them to a member of staff at reception during office hours, or speak to a warden outside office hours. This ensures that concerns can be addressed and resolved promptly while you are onsite.
